Lot #41
Emsoff Livestock 22092
Fullblood June ram
Muy Bueno x Titanium

FULL BROTHER TO LAST YEAR'S RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION! This dude is going to be one of the youngest rams in the yearling class but don't let that fool you. He is a young yearling that has not been pushed oin feed and still has a lot of growing left to do. His shape is all genuine muscle, not fat. He is thick made and impressively built, and comes backed by an impressive pedigree. His sire has been making champion after champion, his mother and grandmother were mutliple time champions and his siblings have been champions. What more could you ask for?!

Lot #42
Emsoff Livestock 22021
September ram lamb
Muy Bueno x Cheap Shot

Unique best describes this young ram. He is sired by Muy Bueno out of a Cheap Shot x Roeder Ranch ewe that was a multiple time champion. He has an exceptional head and is big ribbed with a groove down his rack. This width carries back into a wide pin set with a deep, full twist. No white muscle here! What you see is all genuine, hard muscle shape. There is not an ounce of fat on this young ram. He is very sound on his feet and legs, is exceptionally tight hided and has good pigment. This sheep has strong breed character but he also has the extra bells and whistles to make winning wethers if that's your game.

Lot #37
Emsoff Livestock 22030
Fullblood October ewe lamb
Muy Bueno x Cheap Shot

When it came time to select sheep for this sale, I went into our keeper pen with the goal of picking out our BEST. This ewe was the first pick. She is a standout both in size and build. Easily the growthiest lamb in the pen, she also has a flawless look from the side, being long, straight and feminine in her neck and shoulder. When you get behind her she doesn't fail to impress either! We have been selecting for bold rib shape, which is an area where many Dorpers are lacking, and she is evidence of that. This ewe is big ribbed with a big, full rack and carries that width back into her loin and hip. She has proper pigment and is just an impressive ewe all around.

Lot #38
Emsoff Livestock 22091
Fullblood June ewe
Muy Bueno x Titanium

I am going to regret selling this ewe! She is a FULL SISTER to last year's Reserve Grand Champion ram. Her mother is a Type 5 ewe that was a multiple-time champion. Her grandmother is a Type 5 ewe that was a multiple-time champion. And she is sired by Muy Bueno who has sired multiple champions! This ewe is built very well. She is the BEST of last year's June crop. The only reason she or any of these other lambs are selling is because both our fall and spring lamb crops ran 80% ewe lambs. We simply cannot keep them all. We decided to go big or go home at the Western States event and we are going big with this ewe!

Lot #39
Emsoff Livestock 22031
Fullblood October ewe
Muy Bueno x Das Boots

Straight out of Justus's show pen! We absolutely love the ewe family this sheep comes from! Her granddam was our top pick in the Western States sale a couple years ago and went on to win Supreme Champion at Lambtown as well as a couple other shows. Her dam is a maiden Das Boots daughter that was our favorite of our 2020 lamb crop that was graded Type 5 by South African inspector Colene Van Der Merwe. This ewe is simply stunning on the profile, being the very definition of femininity and soundness. She is just a doll and will make a lovely edition to any flock.

Lot #40
Emsoff Livestock 22067
Fullblood February ewe
Das Boots X "Jewel"

This one hurts! This little ewe is out of a truly foundational ewe in our program. Her mother is a ewe we call "Jewel" that was champion spring ewe lamb years ago in the Western State Dorper Association Show. Since that time she has lambed every 8 months like clockwork. She has been typed a 5 by both Ashley Phillips and Colene Van Der Merwe. This lamb's sire is a Type 5 stud ram as well. So enough about her parents, what about her? She is everything a good Dorper ewe should be: feminine, wide, great capacity, heavy muscled, big boned, sound footed and an excellent top line. This sheep is going to be a brood ewe deluxe.

Lot #43
Emsoff Livestock 22027
Purebred October ewe
Muy Bueno x Cheap Shot

Brood ewe supreme! This ewe is an absolute powerhouse, yet still maintains femininity. She is as wide pinned as any Dorper we have ever seen and is bold and square in her forerib with that hard-to-get stand up rack shape. When we had South African inspector Colene Van Der Merwe out to type our flock, this ewe's dam was her favorite sheep, commenting was that 0869 was what we needed to picture in our minds when thinking about a Type 5 stud ewe. This lovely ewe lamb certainly follows in her mother's mold. As if this all wasn't enough, this ewe had a lovely, quiet temperament.
